Margret Aldrich is the author of The Little Free Library Book (Coffee House Press, 2015) and recipient of a 2018 Industry Innovator Award from the Book Industry Study Group for her work with the Little Free Library nonprofit organization.
She has published her work with The Atlantic, The Huffington Post, Mental Floss, Experience Life, Brain Child, Book Riot, and others. From Little Free Libraries to tiny houses, integrative medicine to introverted kids, digital detoxing to co-op bookstores, Margret's writing hunts for happiness, community, and what makes humans thrive.
A former editor at Utne Reader, longtime book editor, and seasoned news producer, Margret is now the media and programming manager at the Little Free Library nonprofit organization, where she directs the Action Book Club. Weirdest jobs ever? Proofreading personal ads and hand modeling.
She lives in Minneapolis with her husband, two boys, and a Little Free Library.
