Wisconsin Book Festival

Madison Public Library's Wisconsin Book Festival takes place October 22-25, with festival partners including the University of Wisconsin, area schools, and arts and humanities organizations. The festival draws a regional audience of more than 15,000 people attending mostly free, public author talks, performances and related activities.

Iowa City Book Festival

The Iowa City Book Festival is a four-day celebration of books, reading, and writing.

Come hear Margret and Little Free Library founder Todd Bol talk about The Little Free Library Book and the social impact of the Little Free Library movement. You'll find them at the Iowa City Public Library in meeting room A at 1:00.

Or, catch them in the Little Free Library booth at the Book Fair, which runs from 10:00 to 5:00.

The Big Little Party

Little Free Library invites you to its first annual Big Little Party to celebrate its first five years of building community one book at a time!

The party will include:

  • The launch of The Little Free Library Book
  • A mixed media program featuring acclaimed NPR storyteller Kevin Kling, emceed by MPR host Heather McElhatton
  • Music by the Brass Messengers
  • Hors d'oeurves and cash bar
